Everyone is welcome to participate in these community activities in the Reading Room starting in April and continuing every week on the days listed.
Monday - World Prayer Watch –
Read the Christian Science Monitor's analysis of the world's trouble spots. Locate the places in the news that need our prayers on our world map. Pray for one of these places. Share your prayerful inspiration in our prayer journal.
Listen to experienced Christian Scientists speak on a variety of timely subjects and answer questions that web listeners send by e-mail. You can participate in this event on your home computer. Go to spirituality.com to see the topic to be discussed.
Thursday 11-12 - Bible Study Group –
Focus on Weekly Christian Science Bible Lesson. Work with Bible reference materials and share inspiration and research with the group.
4th Monday 7-8 PM - Book Club –
Read a biography of Mary Baker Eddy's life a chapter each month. Meet to discuss highlights from the chapter. The first meeting will be held on April 28. The book to be discussed is Persistent Pilgrim by Richard Nenneman. Copies of the book are available for purchase in the reading room.
